Spring brings lilacs and Mother’s Day

It’s spring In Minnesota and the lilac bushes are budding. The full blooms usually coincide with Mother’s Day and bring back fond memories. As kids we would clip the blooms from the bushes across the street (if the neighbors noticed they never said anything) and place a bouquet on the table before making Mom her Mother’s Day breakfast. Mom would ignore the disaster we made of her kitchen, eat the overcooked eggs, and delight in the sweet smell of lilacs, which masked the smell of burned toast. The whole house was scented in beautiful lilacs for days.

Bring back memories this Mother's Day with our true, lilac-scented Lilac Way Soap. A truly Minnesota soap named after the famous lilac bushes that bloomed along old Highway 100. Said Anna T. of Hopkins, “I’ve smelled a lot of lilac soaps and toilet waters, but this is closest to the real thing.”

Lilac Way Soap is available singly or as part of the I Love Her gift set.
